SynergEyes Launches UltraHealth®: A New Contact Lens for Irregular Corneas and Keratoconus

Carlsbad, CA (January 22, 2013) SynergEyes, Inc., the leader in hybrid contact lens technology, announced that UltraHealth®, its next generation hybrid contact lens for patients with irregular corneas and keratoconus, launched at Global Specialty Lens Symposium- January 24, 2013, at the Rio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The new UltraHealth®, made from high oxygen permeable (Dk) silicone-hydrogel material, is a hybrid lens designed for emerging, mid-stage, and advanced keratoconus. The design concept is in the form of reverse geometry including a combination of a soft skirt (Dk 84) and central RGP material (Dk 130).

Thermo-biomechanical system gets CE mark
